The TAM-Drum is a metallic percussion instrument, handcrafted from a recycled propane tank. Its harmonious and relaxing sound is produced by playing it with fingers or soft rubber mallets. It is considered a "smaller, more accessible brother" to the famous Hang (Handpan), created by Panart in Switzerland. Inspired by Dennis Havlena's guide, the TAM-Drum emerged as an affordable and high-quality alternative for music and percussion lovers seeking an immersive and relaxing sound.

Anyone, regardless of their experience level. It is an intuitive and easy-to-play instrument, ideal for both beginners and advanced musicians. Its soft and harmonious sound makes it perfect for meditation, music therapy, or simply enjoying music freely and improvisationally. It is also recommended for children, as its sound creates pleasant sensations for them and can aid in their musical development.

It is recommended to play with the fingertips, applying soft, dry taps without letting the fingers rest on the instrument. Some techniques include: covering certain notes with one hand while tapping with the other, playing two or three notes simultaneously to create harmonic combinations, and using soft rubber mallets for a cleaner, more relaxing sound. For better resonance, it is advisable to play the TAM-Drum on your lap, on the floor with a cushion, or using the included stand. Avoid placing it on hard, unpadded surfaces, as this could generate unwanted vibrations.

To keep the instrument in optimal condition: avoid prolonged exposure to sun or heat sources, do not get it wet or store it in humid places, avoid contact with seawater or corrosive substances, do not hit it with hard objects such as rings, bracelets, or sticks, do not rest the tongue side against hard surfaces or place objects on them, and use the included case to transport it and prevent impacts. Yes. We currently offer: a protective bag to carry the instrument everywhere, soft rubber mallets for smoother playing, and an internal microphone option with a JACK output.

Generally, we try to keep stock available. In case of no immediate availability, a temporary waiting list can be created, with a waiting time of a couple of weeks or so.

The return period is 24 to 48 hours from the receipt of the product. The instrument must be returned in the same condition in which it was delivered. The buyer will be responsible for the return shipping costs. In case of a manufacturing defect, the product will be exchanged for an identical or similar one (as agreed with the buyer) at no additional cost.

Each TAM-Drum includes: a pair of rubber drumsticks, a stand for proper placement, and a protective bag and blanket so you can take it with you everywhere.
